Take aback - desconcertar, sorprender

• The news took me aback and I couldn't say a word.
  La noticia me sorprendió y no pude decir una sola palabra.

Take after - parecerse a

• If you meet Mickey you'll realize that he's taken after his father.

Take along - llevar consigo
